Frequently asked questions
Do I need to integrate anything?
No. Most customers start by uploading a spreadsheet of stops. There's a CSV template and a sample file on the features page. If you'd rather send orders from your own system, there's a REST API as well.
How does vRouted handle driver hours?
You set each driver's shift window and maximum working hours, and every round is planned to finish inside them. vRouted doesn't calculate legal breaks for you, so set shift limits that keep your drivers inside whichever rules apply to them, whether that's GB domestic or EU/AETR.
What if a customer's delivery window changes on the day?
Update the window and re-run the plan before the vans leave. It takes seconds. vRouted doesn't re-route vans that are already out, so changes after departure are for your driver and planner to handle as they do now.
Does vRouted track vans or need a driver app?
No. vRouted plans the rounds and exports a printable run sheet with a Google Maps link for each drop, which drivers follow on their own phone. It doesn't track vans live, so if you have telematics, keep using them.
Is there a contract?
No long contract. Pay monthly, or annually for 20% off. You can cancel at any time and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you've paid for.
